Theodore M. Thompson

Theodore "Ted" M. Thompson died March 25, 2008 at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, WA.  He was 56 years old.

He was born in Portland, Oregon, on April 10,1951.  He was preceded in death by his parents Theodore D. Thompson and Mary Frances Cloyes Thompson.  He was the eldest of two children. He lived most of his life in Lake Oswego, as did his family.  He graduated from Lake Oswego High School in 1969. He spent the last 6 years, in Longview, Washington.

His passion for life and living and his always positive and enthusiastic attitude gave him strength during his long battle with cancer and other medical issues brought on by his cancer.  He fought valiantly and without complaint because he didn't want to worry those about whom he cared.  He was incredibly brave! 

Ted loved playing cards, golfing, watching movies and spending time with friends and family.  He loved his sister's dogs!

His legacy is in the many friends he cared about and for whom he wanted only the best. He took his greatest joy in the happiness and success of those he loved. He will be missed and remembered and was a devoted brother and best friend to his sister.

Like his dad, everyone Teddy met was a "great guy".  What Teddy didn't know was that he was the "greatest of guys". 

If love could have saved him, he’d still be with us.

He is survived by his sister, Kellie Thompson Stolp and brother-in-law, Joe Stolp, of Bremerton, WA.

A Celebration of his life was held on April 12th, 2008, in Multnomah, OR.
